Jammu, August 26: MLA Bishnah Dr. Rajeev Kumar Bhagat met Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and submitted a memorandum seeking the establishment of a Police Post at Rehal and a Drug Rehabilitation Centre in the Bishnah constituency.
During the meeting, MLA Bishnah apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the need to strengthen the security infrastructure in the area, particularly through the establishment of a police post at Rehal.
The MLA also highlighted the growing concern over drug abuse among youth and urged the establishment of a dedicated Drug Rehabilitation Centre in the constituency to provide treatment and rehabilitation facilities to those affected by substance abuse.
The Lieutenant Governor assured Dr. Bhagat that the demands would be examined on priority and necessary action would be initiated at the earliest.
Expressing gratitude for the assurance, Dr. Bhagat said the proposed initiatives would significantly benefit the people of Bishnah and help address their long-standing concerns related to security and drug abuse.
