Imphal, June 8:
Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, G. P. Singh, met Mukesh Singh, Director General of Police, Manipur, at the Police Headquarters in Imphal on Monday.
During the meeting, the two senior officers reviewed the prevailing security situation in the state and discussed various measures to strengthen coordination among security forces.
According to officials, the discussions focused on ensuring effective cooperation between the police and central security agencies to maintain peace, stability, and normalcy across Manipur.
The meeting also outlined the way forward for security forces to work in close coordination while addressing security challenges and safeguarding public safety in the state.
Officials said that continued collaboration among security agencies remains crucial for maintaining law and order and supporting ongoing efforts to restore normalcy in Manipur.
