The third edition of the Open Khelo Jammu “Amrita Cup” Chess Championship concluded with intense board battles at the Vivek Chess Academy (VCA). Organized under the aegis of the All J&K Chess Association, the tournament brought together the region’s bright young chess minds competing across multiple age categories.
Amrita Gupta and Ishaan Chowdhary delivered standout performances to be declared the overall winners in the Girls and Boys categories, respectively. Both champions walked away with a beautiful trophy cup and a cash prize of ₹1,000 each.
