The event, held under the banner of the “Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan,” saw the entire rank and file of the battalion unite to vow for a drug-free future.
A Call to Action for Youth and Police
The event was presided over by Sh. Dushyant Sharma-SSP (Commandant 15 IR), who delivered a stirring address on the critical role law enforcement and the younger generation play in dismantling drug networks.
“Drug addiction is creating havoc in our society day in and day out,” the Commandant remarked. “While the police have upped their ante in nipping this menace in the bud, it requires a collective effort from the youth to truly eradicate it.”
