The Shiv Mandir at Village Suryachak in the Marh Constituency was transformed into a hub of devotion today, March 12, 2026, as hundreds of devotees gathered for the Annual Bhandara. The event, marked by traditional rituals and community service, saw high-profile participation from senior BJP leadership.
The Inauguration: Prayers for Peace and Prosperity
The sacred event was officially inaugurated by Baldev Billoria (State General Secretary, BJP J&K UT) and Braham Jyot Satti (State President, BJP OBC Morcha J&K UT).
The dignitaries performed a traditional Pooja at the temple, offering prayers for the peace, well-being, and prosperity of the Union Territory. Following the rituals, both leaders joined the volunteers to personally serve the Prasad (community meal) to the gathered devotees, emphasizing the spirit of humility and selfless service.
