Jammu, January 3:
Preparations are in full swing for the 77th Republic Day celebrations within the judicial fraternity of the Union Territories. In a formal communication, it has been announced that the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will preside over the prestigious function at the High Court complex in Jammu.
Event Venue and Schedule
The patriotic ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Jammu wing of the High Court.

Location: The National Flag will be unfurled in the High Court Lawns, located directly opposite the VIP entry to the High Court Building in Janipur, Jammu.

Time: The ceremony is slated to commence at 08:00 AM sharp.
Mandatory Attendance for Officials
The High Court administration has issued a circular to all officers and staff members belonging to the High Court Main Wing.

Official Duty: Attendance at the Republic Day function has been designated as a part of official duty for all concerned personnel.

Punctuality: All officials have been directed to report to the venue by 08:00 AM to ensure the smooth conduct of the proceedings.
Security and Significance
The unfurling of the Tricolour by the Chief Justice is a long-standing tradition that symbolizes the judiciary’s commitment to the Constitution of India. Extensive security arrangements are being coordinated by the Jammu Police around the Janipur area to ensure a seamless celebration.
In addition to the high-ranking judicial officers, senior advocates and members of the Bar Association are expected to attend the event to mark the historic day when India’s Constitution came into effect.
