SUNDERBANI, NOV 16: The two-day Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, held on 14 and 15 November 2025 in Sunderbani, brought together eight major schools in a spirited display of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event, organised to promote holistic development among students, featured intense matches that kept spectators engaged throughout.
The tournament opened on 14 November with the National Anthem, followed by an inspiring address from Col Balbir Jha, Chairman of KMAS, in the presence of Principal Neeru Sharma. Their words of encouragement set an energetic tone for the league matches that unfolded across the first day. Teams from all participating schools showcased strong performances, thrilling rallies, and remarkable coordination as they competed for a place in the final.
The concluding day saw the championship clash between KMAS Sunderbani and New Public School, Sunderbani. In a gripping and well-fought match, New Public School Sunderbani secured victory and lifted the tournament trophy.
During the Prize Distribution Ceremony, Col Balbir Jha felicitated the winning team, runners-up, and all participants. He praised the efforts of every school and emphasised the role of sports in building discipline, character, and leadership among students.
The event ended on a positive note, strengthening the commitment of KMAS and the wider education community in Sunderbani to encourage sporting activities and overall student development.
