JAMMU, NOV 23: The Jammu and Kashmir BJP celebrated its resounding victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Party leaders and activists gathered to mark the occasion, sharing sweets, dancing to drumbeats, and lighting crackers, showcasing their jubilance.
As per the release issued to The Newsroom 24 -Awaz, State President of BJP, Sat Sharma (CA) addressed the gathering, stating that the party is creating history by achieving new milestones in every election across the country.
“The BJP has become the world’s largest political party, a feat attributed to the exemplary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President J.P. Nadda, alongside the tireless efforts of our activists,” he said.
Sharma credited the victory to the party’s good governance model and its commitment to peace, progress, and prosperity. Highlighting the BJP’s expanding influence, he remarked, “The results of recent elections in Jammu and Kashmir reflect the growing faith of the people in our party, as we secured the highest vote percentage and increased our tally from 25 to 29 seats.”
Expressing optimism, Sharma predicted continued victories for the BJP, emphasizing that the party’s focus on people-centric policies and governance would further marginalize political entities driven by family and self-interest.
Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), emphasized the BJP’s robust organizational structure as a key factor behind its success. “From booth level to the state level, our activists maintain year-round contact with the people, serving them diligently and earning their trust. The Maharashtra victory is another milestone that will positively influence future elections in other states,” Koul added.
He further noted the rising trajectory of BJP’s support in Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a promising development for the region’s political landscape.
