JAMMU, OCT 27: International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Jammu, in collaboration with Helpage India, on Sunday organized a special Diwali Milan for the elderly from the Home for the Aged and Infirm in Amphalla. This unique event, held on the school campus, aimed to brighten Diwali for the elderly and spread festive cheer.
As per the release, in a first-of-its-kind initiative, Helpage India arranged for the elderly to visit IDPS Jammu to celebrate Diwali with the school community. Upon their arrival, the elderly guests were warmly greeted by the young IDPIANS, who welcomed them with enthusiasm and festive spirit.
The celebration included a series of melodious music and dance performances by the students, which brought immense joy to the elderly residents.
The vibrant performances were followed by engaging activities and games, carefully organized to allow the elderly and students to bond over shared laughter and light-hearted fun. The campus atmosphere was lively, filled with excitement and happiness that bridged generations.
