JAMMU, SEPT 25: A woman lost her life, and four others, including her two minor children, were injured in a road accident in Rajouri district on Wednesday, officials said.
According to reports, the accident occurred when an Alto 800 vehicle (JK11A 3395) traveling from Shahdhara Sharief to Thannamandi veered off the road near Dakbanglow. The injured were immediately rushed to the Community Health Center (CHC) Thannamandi.
The injured have been identified as Ajaz Ahmed, the driver, Toiba Kosser, her 4-year-old son Ahsan Ali, her 1-year-old daughter Hanza Kosser, and Sahiba Kosser, 29. Tragically, Toiba Kosser succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to the hospital and was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
A police official confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation into the accident is underway.
