JAMMU, SEPT 21: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh intensified the party’s campaign in the Jammu region on Saturday, holding multiple meetings in Samba, Vijaypur, and Ramgarh, while addressing a large public rally in Samba alongside BJP candidate Surjeet Singh Slathia.

Speaking at the rally, Chugh said that separatist forces, led by political families like the Abdullahs, Muftis, and the Congress, will face a decisive defeat in the upcoming Assembly elections. He accused these parties of playing into the hands of Pakistan, citing recent remarks by Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif as evidence of a nexus between Pakistan and the National Conference-Congress alliance.

“People of J&K have woken up to this new threat,” Chugh said, demanding that the Abdullahs and the Gandhi family clarify their alleged links with Pakistan’s ISI. He claimed that these political families had been receiving directions from Pakistan to disrupt peace in the region.

Chugh praised the Modi government for its vision of development and growth in Jammu and Kashmir, especially following the abrogation of Article 370, which he said brought new hope and positivity to the region. He expressed confidence that separatist forces would meet the same fate as they did in the last Lok Sabha elections, predicting their defeat.

“J&K is now looking towards a brighter future, and separatist forces will be made to take a back seat,” Chugh added.
