BUDGAM, SEPT 20: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader Muntazir Mohiuddin has announced his support for National Conference (NC) candidate Omar Abdullah in the upcoming elections from the Budgam constituency.
Mohiuddin emphasized the need for strong leadership, stating that Omar Abdullah has consistently stood against unjust policies and is the right person to represent the people of Budgam. “The people of Kashmir have been stripped of their rights, and it is crucial to elect a leader who will fight for their interests,” he said.
After consulting with friends and well-wishers, Mohiuddin decided to withdraw his nomination papers in favor of Abdullah. “My friends unanimously agreed that supporting the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister is the right decision,” he added.
Mohiuddin also urged the people of Budgam to rally behind Omar Abdullah, calling him the “voice of the voiceless” and praising his experience and leadership skills as essential to addressing the challenges in Kashmir.
The announcement was made during an interaction with a local news agency of Kashmir.
