Jammu, Dec 19:
Following suspicious movement, joint teams of Security Forces have launched extensive search operations in several villages of Rajouri district of Jammu.
The operation began around midnight on Thursday and is continuing, after inputs were received about suspicious persons moving in villages located between the Thanamandi and Manjakote subdivisions of the district in Jammu division.
Acting on the information, joint teams of the Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Special Operations Group cordoned off the suspected areas during the night, the sources said.
The search operation was resumed at daybreak, with intensified combing and aggressive searches underway in multiple locations, including the Behrote Gali area, they added.
