KATHUA, SEPT 26: Police on Thursday recovered a pistol and five rounds of ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team located a suspicious packet at an isolated spot in Khanpur village. Upon inspection, they found a pistol and five rounds of ammunition inside the packet, according to officials.
The seized items have been taken into custody, and an investigation is underway.
