JAMMU, FEB 3: The Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu organized a seven-day ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour for school children from remote border areas, aimed at providing them with educational exposure and cultural awareness. The tour was flagged off on Monday by DIG Sukhdev Raj, Jammu Frontier BSF.
A total of 35 students (20 boys and 15 girls) will embark on this journey to Jodhpur and Jaipur in Rajasthan, where they will visit prominent historical monuments and landmarks.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG BSF emphasized that the initiative is not only an opportunity for children to enhance their knowledge but also to understand India’s diverse culture, customs, and traditions. He highlighted BSF’s commitment to national integration, stating that apart from its border security duties, the force actively contributes to social initiatives like these tours for students from remote areas.
