In a vibrant fusion of creativity and clinical excellence, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu hosted the award ceremony for its two-day Live Painting Competition today. The initiative, aimed at boosting mental well-being and cultural engagement, transformed the campus into a hub of artistic inspiration.
The event was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Jammu, who emphasized the importance of a holistic academic environment that balances rigorous medical training with creative expression.

The highlight of the two-day workshop was the mentorship provided by celebrated artist Mr. K. K. Gandhi. Through live demonstrations, Gandhi shared advanced techniques and insights into the “expressive and therapeutic value of art,” guiding 40 participants through their creative journeys.
