Srinagar, September 2, 2024 (NVI): A 5-year-old LKG student tragically lost his life after being critically injured in a road accident in Khangund, Tral, late Sunday night. The child was hit by a Maruti Suzuki vehicle and succumbed to his injuries after being transferred from Sub-District Hospital Tral to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar. Police have registered an FIR, and an investigation is underway.
An official told that a 5-year-old child and a student of LKG class was critically injured after a Maruti Suzuki vehicle collided with him in Khangund Tral.
He added that the injured boy was first taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tral but was later referred to Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation, and an FIR has been filed in this regard.
