The solemn occasion of 10th Muharram (Youm-e-Ashura) was observed with religious devotion at Markazi Jamia Masjid, Katra, where Jumu’ah prayers were led by Markazi Imam Hafiz Altaf Ahmed Sheikh Sahib.
On the occasion, special prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, communal harmony, and the well-being of all humanity.
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Anayat Ullah, President of Jamia Masjid Katra, paid rich tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his noble family. He highlighted that the message of Karbala continues to inspire people to uphold truth, justice, patience, courage, and to stand firmly against oppression.
The gathering concluded with prayers seeking Allah’s blessings for peace, unity, and guidance to follow the noble teachings of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
