JAMMU, NOV 26: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday transferred eight senior officials. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the transfer orders aimed at streamlining governance.
According to the GAD orders the copy of which lies with The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, Pooja Rasgotra, Junior Scale JKAS, currently serving as State Taxes Officer in the office of Additional Commissioner, State Taxes, Jammu, has been transferred and appointed as Under Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board.
Mohammad Shafi Lone, Under Secretary in the Hospitality and Protocol Department, has also been posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board.
Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, JKAS, who was serving as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, is now posted as a Member of the J&K Services Selection Board. Similarly, Showkat Ahmad Rather, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, has also been appointed as a Member of the board.
Sarib Sahran, JKAS, Assistant Commissioner in the State Taxes Department, Kashmir, who has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board.
Shafqat Majeed Bhat, JKAS, currently serving as Collector, PHE, Irrigation, and Flood Control, Jammu, will hold additional charge as Collector, Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Jammu, until further orders.
Mushtaq Ahmad, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, who has been posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Floriculture, Parks, and Garden. Furthermore, Gulzar Ahmad, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, will now hold the charge of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, in addition to his existing duties.
