Their three-day engagement provided valuable knowledge and expertise to the medical staff, fostering improvements in anaesthesia protocols, patient safety, and operational efficiency.

Dr. DK Pawar, a former professor at AIIMS Delhi and an expert in pediatric anaesthesia, along with Dr. Mridula Pawar, a graduate of GMC Jammu and former Professor and Head of the Department of Anaesthesia at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, shared their wealth of experience with the faculty, residents, nursing officers, and technicians at AIIMS Jammu.

The visit began with a comprehensive tour of various hospital areas, including the operating theatres, where discussions on equipment placement, workflow, and operational efficiency took place. This was followed by an academic session addressing ongoing research in the Department of Anaesthesiology.

On the second day, Dr. DK Pawar demonstrated anaesthesia administration for a superficial mastectomy procedure, sparking insightful discussions among the participants.
