RAJOURI, SEPT 29: A live grenade was recovered from a river near Sora Bridge in the Thannamandi area of Rajouri district on Sunday and was later destroyed by expert teams, officials said.
An official informed Kashmir Bulletin that authorities were alerted to the presence of the grenade, prompting a swift response to ensure public safety. The grenade was discovered in the river and was deemed unsafe for handling.
Specialized teams were deployed to the scene, where they safely destroyed the grenade without any incidents. Investigations are currently underway to determine how the grenade ended up in the river.
