REASI, SEPT 24: Two people, including the driver of an election duty vehicle, were killed after the vehicle fell into a deep gorge in the Tukson Jabara Mohre area of Reasi district on Tuesday.
According to officials, the vehicle, a Sumo with registration number JK11A-3907, lost control and plunged into the gorge, resulting in the instant death of two occupants. The victims have been identified as Constable Ajaz Khan of the 19th Battalion and Javeed Ahmad, the driver, who was the son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Khour.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mohre, Sayed Mazahir Hussain, confirmed the tragic incident to local news sources.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
