A number of shops at the Pedestrian Shopping Mall at Odawna near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra has been razed down.
The shops were razed down by an inferno which is said to have started around 1:30am of Wednesday, November 18.
It is unclear what sparked the inferno but personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are at the scene to control the situation with investigations expected to begin immediately.
There are about eight fire canon so far at the scene, 3news.com can confirm.
Shop owners who got wind of the disaster are also trooping in to salvage what is left of their goods.
