Two Absconders
JAMMU, NOV 23: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Saturday successfully apprehended two long-evading absconders wanted in connection with cases registered in 2017 and 2018 at Police Station (PS) Bishnah.

As per the release issued to The Newsroom 24 –  Awaz, the accused have been identified as Neeraj Kumar Puri, son of Dharam Chand, a resident of Kotli Charkan, Bishnah, and Sahil Sharma, son of Pawan Kumar, a resident of Ward 06, Bishnah. They had been evading arrest in separate cases registered under FIR No. 67/2017 (Sections 341, 295, and 44 IPC) and FIR No. 118/2018 (Sections 457 and 380 IPC).

Both individuals were wanted under warrants issued under Section 512 of the CrPC by the Hon’ble Court. Acting on the directives, the arrests were executed by a team led by the SHO of Bishnah Police Station under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters.
