Volleyball Tournament

RAJOURI, FEB 18: In an initiative to strengthen police-public relations, the Range Police Headquarters Rajouri organized a Volleyball Tournament at District Police Lines under the Civic Action Programme 2024-25. The event features 12 teams from across Rajouri district.

As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the tournament was officially inaugurated by Tejinder Singh, DIG R-P Range Headquarters Rajouri, in the presence of senior officers, including SSP Rajouri Gaurav Sikarwar, IPS Probationer Vinay Gadge, Additional SP Rajouri Bikram Kumar, Dy. SP Hqrs. Rajouri Satish Kumar, Dy. SP DAR DPL Rajouri Akshay Khajuria, and Dy. SP SO to DIG RP Range Pawan Sharma.

Speaking at the event, DIG R-P Range emphasized the importance of sports in character building and physical fitness. He underlined that such initiatives aim to engage the youth in positive activities and prevent them from falling into drug abuse and other social evils.
