JAMMU, OCT 14: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held its first meeting with its newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. During the event, the MLAs were felicitated by senior party leaders in recognition of their electoral success in the recently concluded Assembly polls.

Ravinder Raina, President of J&K BJP, led the event, accompanied by senior leaders including Sat Sharma, Working President J&K BJP; Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha); Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister; Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister; Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization); and Sunil Sharma, MLA and General Secretary J&K BJP.

In his address, Ravinder Raina expressed gratitude to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their overwhelming support to the BJP, which secured the highest number of votes in the Assembly elections. “BJP is indebted to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have reposed their faith in the party, driven by the strong nationalist principles and the working culture initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Raina stated.

He emphasized the importance of selfless service, urging the newly elected MLAs to dedicate themselves to serving the nation, the region, and their constituents. “MLAs, chosen by the people in this Assembly, will leave no stone unturned to serve the nation, region, society, and the people,” Raina remarked, stressing the BJP’s commitment to working year-round for the welfare of the public.

Raina also called on the MLAs to prioritize the development of their constituencies while contributing to the overall growth of the region. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that the welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government reach the most vulnerable members of society. “Our MLAs must serve selflessly, fulfilling their role as the people’s representatives,” Raina urged.
