Power Shutdown Scheduled in Budgam for Conductor Augmentation Work

SRINAGAR, JAN 15: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced a scheduled power shutdown to facilitate the augmentation of conductors from 0.1 ACSR to 0.2 ACSR on the 33KV Budgam-Watrihail line.

As per the notification, the Receiving Station at Watrihail will remain non-operational during the shutdown, impacting power supply to Watrihail, Parthan, Samsan, and Filtration Plant Parthan areas. The power outage will occur from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on January 16, 20, and 23, 2025.
