JAMMU, JULY 27: Frontier Hospital BSF Jammu, in association with Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu and Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu, under the aegis of BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) and the guidance of Sunita Boora, BWWA Head Jammu Frontier, a medical camp for the families of BSF troops organized on Saturday.
As per the release issued here, specialist doctors from GMCH Jammu, including Dr Malvika Sharma, Registrar and Ophthalmologist, and her team, as well as Dr Iqbal Singh, Head of Public Health Dentistry at IGGDC Jammu, participated in the camp. The event highlighted BSF’s commitment to the well-being of its troops’ families by offering essential medical services and educational sessions on eye and dental care.

The event was overseen by DIG Medical Jammu Frontier, Dr Sukhjinder Singh. On the occasion, he said that the Jammu frontier has always been at the forefront of organizing such medical camps, reinforcing BSF’s dedication to supporting the health and welfare of those who serve our borders.
He also thanked Dr Malvika Sharma and Dr Iqbal Singh for providing their services to the BSF troops in a professional manner.
