RAJOURI, NOV 29: Kalidhar Memorial Army School (KMAS) Sunderbani of Rajouri district on Thursday celebrated its annual sports day function 2024 with zeal and enthusiasm.
As per the release issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the chief guest on the occasion was Anu Taneja, Chairperson FWO 28 Inf. Kalidhar Brigade. The function which was declared open by the chief guest was attended by a large number of VIPs, Army officers, Parents and students.
The release further reads that the function was followed by lighting of lamp, torch ceremony. Also, the annual report was presented by Neeru Sharma, the Principal of the KMAS Sunderbani wherein she highlighted the curricular and cocurricular achievements of the students. She expressed her satisfaction for the performance of the students in academics as well as in sports.
The highlights of the programme were, March past of the students of four houses of the School and NCC cadets of Girls, different types of races.
At the end, the chief guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and the achievers. The prizes were given to the students who are best in academics Olympiads and sports.
