RAJOURI, MAR 01: The Kabaddi tournament organized by Range Police Headquarters Rajouri at District Police Lines concluded today, with Jamola Kabaddi Club emerging victorious against Kotranka Kabaddi Club by a margin of 21 points. The event, which began on February 19, aimed to strengthen the bond between the police and the public while promoting sportsmanship.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the final match witnessed enthusiastic participation, with players displaying remarkable skill and determination. After the match, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Headquarters Tejinder Singh, along with SSP Rajouri Gaurav Sikarwar, commended the players for their dedication and perseverance. He emphasized the role of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit.
The event was attended by Dy.SP Hqrs Rajouri Satish Kumar, Dy.SP DAR Rajouri Akshay Khajuria, and Dy.SP Staff Officer RPHQ Rajouri Pawan Sharma, along with other officials.
The tournament concluded with the presentation of trophies, medals, and cash prizes to the winners and runners-up. Words of appreciation were also extended to all participating teams and officials who contributed to the success of the event.
