JAMMU, DEC 04: Jammu and Kashmir Government approved the promotion of 59 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). The promotions were announced via a government order issued by the Home Department on on Tuesday.
According to the order, the copy of which lies with The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the promotions will take effect either notionally from January 25, 2024, or immediately, based on seniority and departmental clearances. Below is the detailed list of the promoted officers and their effective promotion dates:
