Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

JAMMU, OCT 23: The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Jammu 2024 initiative witnessed a vibrant day filled with various activities at the NCC Training Academy (NTA) Nagrota, as cadets from Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh participated in a range of events aimed at fostering national unity and cross-cultural learning.

A visit to the iconic Balidaan Stambh was a highlight of the day, offering cadets from both Senior Wing/Senior Division and Junior Wing/Junior Division a chance to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

The cadets were deeply moved by the Amar Jyoti, an eternal flame symbolizing the indomitable spirit of India’s war heroes. The visit enriched the cadets’ understanding of the country’s military history and instilled in them a deep sense of respect for the valor and patriotism of the armed forces.

The cadets also showcased their public speaking skills during an impromptu speech competition. Taking to the stage with enthusiasm, they delivered speeches on a variety of topics, demonstrating clarity, quick thinking, and composure.

The event provided an opportunity for cadets from different regions to exchange ideas and learn from each other’s unique perspectives, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect.

The day’s activities continued with the National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP), held in the prestigious Zorawar Auditorium at the NCC Training Academy.

The event, a cornerstone of the EBSB initiative, brought together cadets from the Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh and Bihar & Jharkhand Directorates, who mesmerized the audience with creative performances that celebrated the cultural richness and heritage of their respective regions.

Through a vivid display of traditional dances, songs, and other performances, the cadets embodied the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. The cultural exchange highlighted the unique diversity of the participating states while promoting national integration and cross-cultural learning.
