KISHTWAR: The Kishtwar – Paddar Road continued blocked for 5th conservative day on Friday. The Administration and Red Cross teams continuously working in the effected areas to ensure essential supply.
The heavy landslide hit the Kishtwar – Paddar road near Pathernakki area in Kishtwar district.
The official sources said that the Red Cross team, in collaboration with Assistant Director (AD) Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) are ensuring supply of essential items, including vegetables, to the cut-off Padder area.
A team of porters left Nagseni early this morning to trek to Padder on foot, carrying vital supplies.
The Road clearance work is underway in full swing at Pathernaki, with double shifts being operated to restore connectivity at the earliest.
