JAMMU, JAN 12: In a bid to address healthcare needs in border areas, BSF Jammu organized a medical camp on January 10, 2025, under its Civic Action Programme. The camp was held at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Sai Kalan, in the R.S. Pura area of Jammu district.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the medical camp focused on immunization, patient treatment, and raising awareness about health issues, particularly those prevalent during the winter season. Attendees received valuable consultations and personalized care from a team comprising BSF medical officers and government doctors from the R.S. Pura region. Free medicines were also distributed among the patients.
BSF Jammu has consistently taken proactive steps to support the welfare of border communities. “We remain committed to organizing such initiatives to serve the nation and enhance the well-being of the border population,” the statement noted.
