JAMMU, DEC 04: Terrorists once again striked in Kashmir and now targeted a Territorial Army (TA) Soldier at Sofigund Aripal area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, this evening.
Police and Defence sources confirmed the incident and informed that the terrorists opened fire upon a TA jawan outside his residence at Sofigund Aripal in Tral.
The army soldier identified as Delhair Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi of Sofigund Khanagund suffered bullet injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
The TA soldier was on leave and was standing outside his house when terrorists attacked him. He has suffered injury in leg and his condition is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the whole area to nab the terrorists.
