JAMMU, OCT 17: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Anand Jain, IPS, on Thursday visited Rajouri to review the operational preparedness of Police Station Kalakote and Police Post Teryath. Accompanied by DIGP RP Range, Tejinder Singh, IPS, and SSP Rajouri, Randeep Kumar, the ADGP’s visit focused on fortifying security arrangements in the region in response to the prevailing security situation.

During the visit, Anand Jain conducted a detailed inspection of Police Station (PS) Kalakote, where he reviewed the operational readiness of the personnel and interacted with officers and officials to assess the current security measures in place. The ADGP emphasized the importance of maintaining high alertness and readiness for any emerging security challenges.

In addition to the inspection, ADGP Anand Jain held a meeting with Deputy SP Operations from across Rajouri district to discuss security strategies and threat assessments. The discussions focused on improving coordination between police and other security forces to enhance vigilance and streamline counter-terror operations in the region. Collaborative efforts were highlighted as essential to addressing potential threats and maintaining peace in the area.

ADGP Jain stressed the need for proactive measures, intelligence-driven operations, and community engagement to safeguard public safety and ensure stability. The visit reaffirmed the commitment of law enforcement agencies to maintaining security and preparedness across Rajouri district. Further steps to strengthen anti-terror operations and enhance public safety were discussed.
