SHOPIAN, MAR 05: In an intensive inspection drive, the Drug Control Department of Shopian scrutinized medical shops across several villages, leading to regulatory action against multiple establishments.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, a team led by the Assistant Drugs Controller conducted inspections in Kumdalan Nagisharan, Hajipora, Chakoora, Dangam, and Kaprin. Following the review, two medical shops were issued show cause notices, while the operation of one shop in Kundalan was disallowed on the spot due to non-maintenance of records for scheduled formulations and violations of licensing conditions.
The inspecting team also examined CCTV footage of the firms and directed all shop owners to strictly adhere to drug dispensing guidelines.
