JAMMU, OCT 28: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Monday flagged a fake account impersonating him on the social media platform ‘X’ and urged authorities to take immediate action.
Choudhary shared this concern just weeks after the formation of a new government under Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
In a post on X, Choudhary highlighted the presence of the impersonating profile, cautioning users against following it. “This is Fake account created by some miscreant i request you all not to follow” he wrote, sharing an image of the fraudulent profile.
Alongside this warning, he tagged both Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, calling for prompt measures to address the issue.
The emergence of this fake profile has raised concerns about security and misinformation, especially as the new administration settles into office.
