KISHTWAR, OCT 26: In a solemn tribute to fallen heroes, Kishtwar Police, led by SSP Abdul Qayoom (JKPS) on Saturday visited the families of police martyrs to express gratitude and solidarity. The initiative, a heartfelt acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by these brave officers, included gestures of appreciation for the families who bear the legacy of their loved ones’ courage.
As per the Police release, on Friday, Additional SP Kishtwar, Pawan Kumar, along with SDPO Atholi, Dy. SP PC Dachhan, Dy. SP PC Drabshalla, Dy. SP DAR, and other officers, visited the homes of these martyrs, meeting with family members to offer words of respect and support. This outreach was a symbol of the community’s deep regard for the valiant individuals who dedicated their lives to protecting the nation.
SSP Qayoom shared a message highlighting the importance of this initiative, stating that the visits were a genuine expression of gratitude on behalf of the entire community and law enforcement fraternity. He reaffirmed Kishtwar Police’s commitment to preserving the memory of these martyrs and providing steadfast support to their families in difficult times.
