Calls for Unity and Community Contribution
SRINAGAR, OCT 13: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of Bazar Masjid in Bohri Kadal today. The event, organized by Bazm-e-Tawheed Ahlihadees, saw active participation from the local community and religious leaders.
In his address, the Mirwaiz expressed gratitude to the people and the organizers for their efforts in rebuilding the mosque, which was gutted in a devastating fire on June 24, 2024. He urged the business community and locals to contribute generously to the reconstruction project, emphasizing the need to preserve places of worship. Mirwaiz also highlighted the importance of fostering cooperation and unity among different sects for the collective well-being of society.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of prominent Ulemas, including Bazm-e-Tawheed acting president Dr. Tariq Ahmad Bhat, Jamiat Ahle Hadees president Dr. Abdul Lateef Kindi, and others. A special moment occurred when Maulana Mubarak Mubarki, chairman of Bazm-e-Tawheed, made a brief appearance despite his ill health, and was warmly received by the Mirwaiz, who praised his dedication to the community.
