Jammu, January 13:

To commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary philosopher and global youth icon, Swami Vivekananda, the Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) Jammu, in partnership with the Cluster University of Jammu, organized a grand celebration of National Youth Day today.

The event, held at the Mission premises, centered around the theme of “Unified Plurality,” drawing a large assembly of students, faculty, and devotees.

Youth as Architects of Tomorrow

The occasion was graced by Sri. Rajeev Khajuria (JKAS), Joint Commissioner (Adm), Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), who attended as the Special Guest. In a powerful keynote address, Sh. Khajuria highlighted that Swami Vivekananda provided a practical blueprint for character building rather than just slogans.

“Youth are the true architects of tomorrow. Empowerment is truly realized when we move beyond self-interest to work toward the collective good of society,” Khajuria stated, urging students to blend academic excellence with spiritual ethics.

Spiritual Strength for Modern Challenges

The program was presided over by Swami Yajnadharananda Ji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Jammu. In his address, he reminded the youth that believing in the infinite power of the soul is the ultimate motivation to overcome modern-day stresses and challenges.
