Hundreds of young activists gathered at the iconic Swami Vivekanand Chowk in Gumat today as the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) celebrated National Youth Day 2026. Led by State President Arun Prabhat, the event marked the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with a call for the youth to become the architects of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.

The ceremony was graced by Sh. Sat Sharma, Member of Parliament and BJP President for Jammu & Kashmir, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the massive gathering of BJYM karyakartas, Sharma highlighted the strategic importance of India’s youth.
