Announces Indian United Rajput Federation
JAMMU, OCT 21: The youth of the Rajput community gathered on Monday at Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s statue to pay rich tribute to the great Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji and announced the formation of the Indian United Rajput Federation (IURF) J&K.
The occasion coincided with the 232nd birth anniversary of Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji, the founder of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The newly-formed federation aims to address the welfare of the Rajput community in Jammu & Kashmir.
Speaking at the event, community leaders emphasized the challenges faced by Rajputs, particularly those residing in border and hilly areas, and pledged to advocate for their rights and welfare.
The IURF J&K will push for initiatives such as the establishment of a Rajput hostel and a Rajput Welfare Board, while also promoting inter-state unity among Rajputs.
The Indian United Rajput Federation already has a presence in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, with plans for expansion into Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
This new federation promises to be a platform for addressing community concerns and promoting social welfare.
