SRINAGAR, OCT 29: A Kashmiri student from Safapora, Ganderbal, identified as Salik Naseer, was found dead in his room near the Mandi Gobindgarh area in Punjab on Monday.
Naseer was a Bachelor of Science student at RIMT Chandigarh, and his sudden demise has cast a pall over his community and family.
Punjab police discovered Naseer’s body and have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death. The authorities have not yet released any details regarding the cause, and further inquiries are ongoing.
