Police Honouring Martyrs

JAMMU, OCT 20: In the lead-up to Police Commemoration Day, the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in the Rural Zone have initiated a heartfelt tribute to honor the families of fallen heroes. Police teams from PP Chinore, PP Sidhra, and BPP Gajansoo visited the homes of martyrs, presenting gifts as tokens of gratitude for the immense sacrifices these families have endured on Sunday.

This initiative, which aims to acknowledge the valor and supreme sacrifice of officers who gave their lives in the line of duty, serves as a reminder of the courage displayed by the brave men and women of the police force. Families of the martyrs, often living with the pain of their loss, were met with appreciation and respect by the local police.

Police Commemoration Day, observed annually, holds deep significance as it reflects on the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers across the country. It stands as a moment of remembrance for both the police force and the wider community, reinforcing the bond between citizens and those who protect them.
