UDHAMPUR, SEPT 17: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has launched its first-ever NCC Air Squadron (Flying) in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, offering a uniqueber 17, opportunity for students across the region to engage with the field of aviation.
This pioneering initiative will allow students from various schools and colleges in Jammu & Kashmir to gain hands-on experience and exposure to aviation, aiming to nurture their interest in aviation and allied sectors. The newly introduced NCC Air Wing is part of NCC’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational opportunities for youth in the region, providing them with skills and experiences that could be critical in their future careers.
In a statement, NCC officials emphasized that this new program is open for enrollment to all educational institutions in the state. However, due to limited capacity, participation will be based on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. Schools and colleges interested in enrolling their students are urged to act promptly to secure slots.
This initiative is seen as a major step in preparing the next generation of leaders in aviation and other related fields. Through the Air Wing, students will receive training that not only enriches their academic experience but also opens doors to future opportunities in the aviation industry.
